The Friday Five

1. What was the first band you saw in concert?
            My parents took me with them to see John Denver when I was five but I don't remember it so I don't count it. So I guess it would be Aerosmith.
2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
          Oh so many...melissa etheridge, tina turner, sister 7, john mayer, david gray, sheryl crow, billie myers,....
3. What's your favorite song?
          Again, so many...any by the above artists and (don't laugh) Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake....it just makes me wanna dance!!!
4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
          Definitely the guitar!
5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
          Melissa Etheridge or Tina Turner

1. What was the first band you saw in concert?
My Parents didn't take me to any concerts...but we always went to dances and the first concert I ever saw was ZZ TOP.

2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
Too many to count. I love MUSIC

3. What's your favorite song?
Well, 3 most favorite songs are Tracy Chapman's PROMISE and This Point in My Life and most importantly Kansas, Dust in the Wind...because it brings you back to earth.

4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
Well, I can play the trumpet. But, I'd learn the sax...and I wouldn't stop there no no no I'd learn the piano, no no no I'd learn percussion, no no no no I'd play guitar, no no no...the hardest of all. The Triangle *ding*

5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
Ritchie Valens (i'd make him sing me 'Your Mine.' Billie Holiday (i'd make her teach me to sing like her) Tracy Chapman (i'd tell her she's awesome and her music helped me through a time in my life)...
